Interior Door Retrofit – Cheyenne Autumn, Colorado Springs

For this townhome in the Cheyenne Autumn community near Cheyenne Mountain, we retrofitted three new interior doors into the existing openings. Each opening was carefully reframed as needed, and the doors were mortised and fitted with hardware for smooth, proper operation. We finished the installation by caulking gaps, completing final adjustments, and thoroughly cleaning the work area.

The homeowner picked out a fantastic door style for the space. The design works especially well with the home’s existing décor and gave the interior a noticeable update without changing the character of the room.

A great example of how a well-chosen door and a properly executed retrofit can give an existing space a clean, custom-finished look.
